Went on tour and tasting whilst on holiday near Launceston. Lovely welcome and very informative tour. Tasted a number of gins which were all subtly different and were told a lot about each one. Liked them all and bought a bottle or two!

Customer service review only -
Was hoping to sit and have a relaxing tasting with some friends and when we asked for the flavour profile of their gins was told we had to decide there and then if we just wanted to taste 3 or 5 of their gins. After again asking if we could get the flavour notes before we made a final decision when it comes to how many we taste, we were rudely told to just make a decision.
Definitely ruined the mood of the afternoon and we did not stay for a tasting. There were no other customers around, we arrived early afternoon, so they weren't on a time crunch.
Just disappointing service.
We then went to a gin bar in Launceston and was able to get a run down on their flavour notes there and try it. The gin ended up being nice but the bitterness of the service stuck around.

Wonderful tour with an ever knowledgeable tour guide and friendly staff. Really recommend this gem in Grindelwald! Make the stop during your Tassie/Launie trip 😍 Grabbed ourselves a bottle of the distiller's batch gin to take back to Melbourne and will be returning on our next trip down here. Lovely tour and tasting offering, thank you! Plus the cheese platter is delicious, local cheeses from Southern Sky and a few varieties to dig into 🧀
