Prepare yourself for the ultimate whisky showdown as The Furnace hosts 𝗕𝗮𝗿 𝗙𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁, a thrilling knockout competition featuring four of Tasmania’s finest distilleries.

On 𝗦𝗲𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟮𝟭𝘀𝘁, Hobart Whisky and IronHouse Tasmania will go head-to-head in a battle of drams. Only one distillery will advance to the final!

𝗘𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗗𝗲𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗹𝘀:
𝗧𝗶𝗺𝗲: 6:00 PM (Doors Open), 6:30 PM (Competition Begins)
𝗩𝗲𝗻𝘂𝗲: The Furnace, Ranelagh, Tasmania

Each ticket includes a welcome drink (beer, cider, wine, or G&T from deQuetteville Distillery), six neat whisky tastings, a ringside-appropriate dinner, and entertainment from our lively MC, 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗸 𝗧𝗲𝗮𝗴𝘂𝗲, with 𝗦𝗲𝗮𝗺𝘂𝘀 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗿𝗼𝗹𝗹 keeping the competition on track.

Whisky personality 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗸 𝗧𝗲𝗮𝗴𝘂𝗲 (@whiskyismyjam) will MC the event, bringing his deep whisky knowledge and 𝘪𝘯𝘧𝘦𝘤𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘶𝘴 𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘩𝘶𝘴𝘪𝘢𝘴𝘮 to the night. We’re also partnering with 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗪𝗵𝗶𝘀𝗸𝘆 𝗖𝗹𝘂𝗯, Australia’s largest whisky community, offering members exclusive discounts. 𝗦𝗲𝗮𝗺𝘂𝘀 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗿𝗼𝗹𝗹 will serve as our ‘referee,’ adding humour and ensuring the competition stays spirited and "fair".
