As a spirited spirits enthusiast, Tarrant was sharing a glass of rum in a small Hobart waterfront pub with his two brothers, when he realised that great Tasmanian whisky and gin were aplenty, but rum was curiously hard to find. So he set about establishing Tasmania’s premier Rum-dedicated distillery.
The distillery is about half an hour drive from Hobart. Your tour will include a behind-the-scenes look at our distilling facility, guided by our 'rum-bassador' who will explain the process of making rum and what goes into making our products unique to other spirits. Your experience will end with a guided tasting of a selection of our products and the opportunity to ask your guide about any aspect of the rum business that interests you! Please note: For groups of 6 or more, we recommend booking your tour in advance.
