Lawrenny Estate Distillery

Lawrenny Estate is a 400 acre property located in Tasmania’s Central Highlands, just over an hour’s picturesque drive through the Derwent Valley, northwest of Hobart. Lawrenny Estate Distilling has been established as one of only a very few ‘paddock to bottle’ Estate single malt whiskies in the world. The barley grains are grown and harvested from the Lawrenny fields then mashed, fermented and distilled using the pure waters that flow metres from the distillery doors.

If you happen to drive past Lawrenny Distillery please turn around and go in, it’s worth it! I did. The gin is amazing and the vodka was very special. We were treated to have Ross present the Gins and Vodka at this beautiful distillery. What an amazing single malt and bourbon. Well done to all involved and congratulations on the medals won Thank you!

My experience at Lawrenny was amazing. I had a tasting with my family where Ross explained the history about the incredible property as well as the process in how they produce their gin and vodka. The gin is next level with really thought out hints of flavours and the vodka is the smoothest I’ve had. Will definitely be going back the next time I visit Tasmania! Thank you Ross and Mary for having us!

What a great experience, I learnt so much from Ross at the award winning distillery.
We had a great time as a family tasting and listening. We were spoilt of choices, they have the best tasting gin, vodka and whiskey!
