The distillery is nestled above Impression Bay at Premaydena, hidden on the shores of the beautiful Norfolk Bay on the breathtaking Tasman Peninsula - a place of historic significance on many levels.
At the indoor tasting area visitors can rest in century old chairs originally crafted for the Tasmanian Museum board room in Hobart. There is also an outside tasting area taking in the panoramic views over Impression Bay and the surrounding rural countryside and, on a clear day, across to Mount Wellington / Kunanyi above Hobart In the far distance.
The distillery’s hand beaten German copper still. Our still was created by a fourth generation family run business not far from the Black Forest in Germany. The epicenter of many fine European spirits. This still is specially designed to capture the essences of fresh botanicals and to create a refined and sophisticated spirit.
