How to Create Your Personalised Whisky & Spirits Itinerary

Welcome to our guide on creating personalised whisky and spirits itineraries. We aim to provide whisky and spirits enthusiasts with a memorable journey, visiting some of the finest distilleries and points of interest. Follow this step-by-step guide to tailor your own whisky adventure using Google Maps.

Select a Suggested Itinerary

Begin by opening our 'suggested itineraries' link in Google Maps. This will give you a comprehensive route, showcasing top distilleries and attractions enroute.

Clicking the link will open a new window into Google Maps in your default web browser.

Google Map itineraries can only have 10 stops.

Amend our itinerary to suit you

Reorganise stops: Drag and drop the destinations in the order you prefer. This can help optimise your route for travel time and personal preferences.

Remove stops: Hover over the stop name and an X will appear. Click that X to remove the stop.

Add stops: Click the plus button at the bottom of the list and type to search for a new destination. Only 10 stops are allowed on Google Maps. 

Locations you have recently searched for will appear up the top. Browsing our distillers and opening their map location will help Google Maps bring them to the top of your searches. 

You can add any stop available on Google Maps.

Share and Save your Itinerary

Click "Copy Link" and the link will get copied to your keyboard. From here you can:

Paste the link into your browser - and bookmark it for later.

Send it to a friend - share your plans via email, text, or social media messaging.

You can also copy the link into your travel planning documentation.

Your link will be editable just like when you stared using our itinerary. Any edits you make will not be reflected in the link you've saved, so you'll need to be sure to copy the link of any updated itinerary you create.
